Next Steps support group (at the St James Community Centre). Meets on Monday afternoons from 3pm to 4.30pm, gather in the Pump Café. A weekly facilitated group for anyone who has lost someone close or who is caring for someone with illness or dementia. Gather at 3pm in the Pump Café at the St James Centre. Light refreshments will be served, it is not necessary to attend every group, please do come along. Facilitated by Eric Eyre and Jane Oundjian.

Ducklings parents carers & baby toddler play group (at the St James Community Centre). Meets on Tuesday mornings term-times from 8.45am to 10.15am. Gather in the St James Centre hallway to sign in. A parents/carers baby and toddler group. Enjoy the chance to meet local parents/carers. Harbour Churches has a lovely play room and safe play area on the ground floor of the St James Community Centre.

Soup Lunch - monthly social event occurring on mid-month Wednesdays from 12.30pm in the Church Room, Pound Road, West Wittering PO20 8AJ. Treat yourself; come along to Harbour Churches Soup Lunch. Enjoy fabulous company, delicious homemade soup, fresh bread, piping hot tea or coffee, and also a choice of homemade cake - all for just £4!

Thursday Pump Café at the St James Community Centre. Drop in for a cuppa and a natter, beverages & biscuits are available. Walk with Amblers or rest with other visitors. The located Pump Café is on the ground floor of the St James Community Centre. Two gender neutral toilets are available, one of which has disability and baby changing access. Dogs are welcome, parking is available behind the community centre in Church Lane.

Amblers village walk social group (at the St James Community Centre)

Amblers village walk social group at the St James Community Centre. Join Amblers on Thursdays from 10am to 12 noon, meet in the Pump Café if the weather is bad or by St James Church porch if you are walking and the weather is good. Amblers is a social group based around a short walk in Birdham or neighbouring villages followed by coffee and chat. If you have mobility issues you're welcome to coffee. Meet by St James church porch when sunny, or in the Pump Café at the St James Centre if it is raining. We set off at 10am. 

Stitch Club (at the St James Community Centre)

Stitch Club, meets every Thursday from 2.30pm to 4pm. Everyone is welcome to our social club, no skills are necessary; we do knitting, crochet, patchwork, mending, tapestry etc. We have been asked to stitch or knit little hearts by a local funeral company because they offer them to bereaved folk as a source of comfort.

Be Still Prayer Service (at St Peter & St Paul)

Be Still Prayer Service weekly on Thursday evenings 6pm to 6.30pm. At Be Still we pray not only for people that are acutely ill, but also for those with long-term health problems. We also pray for people facing all sorts of difficulties and challenges, such as struggling businesses, job interviews, starting at college or university, financial and other worries. We pray for people by name or anonymously.
