Treasure in jars of clay; I love toy shops! Even in my older age I still have that same thrill, walking in and seeing shelves packed high with goodies – it is a JOY! Later today I’ll wander into East’ and visit our brilliant local toy shops.

Christ reaches out in embrace. This week the General Synod of the Church of England, led by both Archbishops of Canterbury and York, has voted to permit the blessing of same-sex relationships. This is a significant decision of Church doctrine.

God’s living word. I hope and pray that I, and all those preaching God’s living Word this Sunday, will be blessed with the words that need to be said.
